Secrets of Hesburgh Libraries

 

A new series beginning on the Hesburgh Libraries @ University of Notre Dame facebook page will offer readers a chance to glimpse seldom seen parts of the Libraries. The first installment of the series features the President’s Lounge, the official name of the 14th floor of the Hesburgh Library.
Working with the OIT, we used a new type of technology to photograph the Lounge. To try it out, click on the pictures below. You’ll be taken to gigapan pictures which allow you to zoom in and out of the scene. If you click on the thumbnail photos below the large gigapan, you can zoom in on that specific part of the picture. The text boxes next to the thumbnails provide descriptions.
