What is CatalogPlus?
CatalogPlus is a new search service offered by a consortium of five area libraries, the Michiana Academic Library Consortium, or MALC 1
Using CatalogPlus you'll be able to search the holdings of any MALC library, or all of them together
In the future, CatalogPlus will enable you to find additional content not currently available in the catalog. For example:
- Items in the University Archives and Hesburgh Libraries' Dept. of Rare Books & Special Collections
- Holdings from the Center for Research Libraries (CRL)
- Working papers from the Institute for Latino Studies
CatalogPlus provides Web 2.0-type functionality you've come to expect:
- Improved relevance
- Real time availability information
- Faceted browse lets you limit your results to online resources or by date, topic, or holding library
- "Did you mean" prompts
- Search by tags you or others have assigned
- Read and write reviews
