To renew Kresge Library materials, please visit Kresge Law Library
To request Interlibrary Loan items renewal, see Interlibrary Loan
You can request and renew items, keep track of due dates, check the status of items you have requested, access outstanding fine/fee details, and see if there is a block on your account (and why) at any time by logging into the "My Account" service.
You may log in to your library account at any time on the Hesburgh Libraries webpage by choosing the "My Account" link within the Quicklinks.
After you click the "My Account" button, you will see a page containing a short form.
In this form, enter your NetID and password. Special Borrowers, Saint Mary's, Holy Cross and Bethel College patrons must use the 14-digit barcode from their ID and their institution assigned four (4) digit PIN, then click the "Go" button.
After logging in, scroll down to the section "Loans/Renewals" and click the number under the corresponding institution. You will see a list of the items currently checked out to you, along with their due dates. This is the easiest way to keep track of when you will need to return or renew the items you have checked out.
In order to renew items, simply click Renew All, or click individual checkboxes next to the items you would like to renew, then click Renew Items.
If you are unable to log into "My Account" for any reason, please contact the Circulation/Reserves Desk at (574) 631-6318, or circ.1@nd.edu.
Possible reasons you are unable to log into "My Account" include:
Sometimes all the systems that use NetID do not get updated when a passcode is changed. Visit the OIT website and change your passcode again. This often corrects the problem.
If after attempting to renew the books, you see the message "Not Renewed" after an item:
Note: If you must return an item that cannot be renewed, one option to consider is requesting a copy through Interlibrary Loan.
*There is no renewal limit for the majority of the collection.
Please contact the Hesburgh Library Circulation/Reserve Desk, or your branch library for assistance.
