SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
The Medieval Institute has a collection of reproductions of drawings from the Ambrosiana Library in Milan; therefore we collect everything relating to this material of the Italian Renaissance.
The Institute also has a special interest in Italian miniatures.
In addition to the interest of the School of Architecture in interior decoration, American Studies has a special interest in this aspect of material culture, particularly as it pertains to furniture.
The University Libraries are
the beneficiary of an endowment for the purchase of numismatic books,
as well as gifts of coins from the donor.
