Microforms (Lower Level)

This very valuable resource on Northern Ireland from1966-1989 consists of a set of microfiche of periodicals (newspapers, magazines and newsletters) during the period. The microfiche are on the Lower Level of the Hesburgh Library, and should be used in conjunction with the printed guide which is in the same area. This has an alphabetical index by periodical title to the microfiche number, and listings of periodicals under the headings of Publishers, Places and Years.

The Stormont Papers consist of 84 volumes printed from the start of the Northern Irish Parliament in 1921 to the end of Home Rule in 1972. They consist of verbatim reports of the debates at the Stormont Parliament within the (first) period of Home Rule in Northern Ireland.
