Angella Marcum
My experience while working at Notre Dame's libraries was definitely a good one. Being exposed to the different types of work in the different libraries allowed me to see that librarians do more than just help patrons look for books and reshelve books. I believe that is a big misconception that many people have, and through this program I have been able to gain more respect for librarians, and see how hard they do work, and find out the many responsibilities they have. The people that were hired in the program were some of the greatest people I have ever met, and would not have met if it were not for this program. All of us are different and unique, but it was through our differences that we were really able to come together and get along. We all have made new friends, and hopefully we will keep in touch.
