The site provided charts on the racial breakdown of defendants executed and studies observing the relationship between race and the death penalty.

This website gave a more detailed description of each state’s participation in the death penalty. Indiana does have the death penalty and Indiana’s first execution after the death penalty was reenacted was in 1990. Today the method used for executions is lethal injection.

This book gave an overview on the typical discussions and arguments about the death penalty. Costanzo writes on the history of violence that our country has and how that affects our view on the death penalty. He also writes on the issues of racial discrimination, cost of life imprisonment, and the morality behind killing killers.

This book shares conversations with murderers and the victim’s family. A large part of the book discusses the death penalty and the eighth amendment.
