NetLibrary User Guide
Access to Netlibrary Books:
Notre Dame faculty, staff and students can 'view' any netlibrary title that is part of the Notre Dame subscribed collection. There is no time limit, but there is a 15 minute inactivity time-out (including a 2 minute logout alert). Each book can only be viewed by one concurrent user, so while a book is in use it is unavailable to others. Please be considerate and and log out when you are finished.
Printing from Netlibrary Books:
When reading an eBook online you may print or copy one page at a time by using your browser's Print or Copy functions.
- Choose File/Print from your browser window
- Choose 'As laid out on the screen' if you want to print the entire page you are viewing. Choose 'The selected frame' if you want to print only the text, but be sure your mouse click is in that screen.
-
Books in our collection:
- Go to netLibrary books owned by Notre Dame for a browsable list.
- To search the Notre Dame Online Catalog for Notre Dame's collection of netLibrary titles, do an author search for "netLibrary". Then click on "netLibrary, Inc. - [LC Authority Record]". This will provide a bibliographic list of all the titles that Notre Dame has access to.
- Browse or search titles directly at http://www.netlibrary.com. Netlibrary will identify you automatically as a Notre Dame affilitated user. If you are off-campus, you will be prompted for your Notre Dame netid and password.
