Acceptable Use Policy
The Political Science collection is dedicated to the study of American Politics, Western European Governments, comparative politics, international relations, and political theory. Additional interests in the fields of Peace Studies and Public Policy are also included in the selection criteria. The library supports both undergraduate and graduate research studies and curriculum. Materials are collected in a wide range of formats including books, serials, CD-ROMs, and videos.

Access to these resources is governed by license agreements which restrict use to the Notre Dame community and to individuals who use the Notre Dame Libraries' facilities. Acceptable use forbids downloading contents of entire issues of a given journal title. The database ranges from the years immediately following World War II, when declassified documents were first made widely available, through the 1970s. Nearly every major foreign and domestic event of these years is covered: the Cold War, Vietnam, foreign policy shifts, the civil rights movement, and others. Usage info: Licensed for 2 simultaneous users.
Contains a comprehensive collection of primary documents, including more than 43,000 of the most important declassified documents regarding critical U.S. policy decisions.
