To do this effectively, you will learn to:
- Search for information using the various academic and scholarly literature available
- Critically evaluate information appropriate for academic research and writing
- Give credit by appropriately citing sources of information

As you start doing research at Notre Dame, you'll want to set up accounts in the following library services:
Interlibrary Loan lets you get books and articles from other libraries that aren't available at Notre Dame. Set up your account here. 
RefWorks helps you manange your bibliographic citations on the Web and add them to your paper using the style your professor recommends. Set up your account here. 
MyAccount lets you see all the items you have checked out and renew them online. You can also see the status of your recall and hold requests. Learn more here. -
