Enabling Cookies

in Web Browsers

Internet Explorer | Netscape or Mozilla | Safari

 

Internet Explorer

PC

1. Select Tools > Internet Options from the menu options.
2. Under the category Privacy, click the Advanced... button.
3. Make sure the "Override automatic cookie handling" checkbox is selected.
4. Make sure the Accept radio button is selected under "First-party Cookies".  Click OK.
5 . Restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.

Mac

1. Select Explorer > Preferences from the menu options.
2. Under the category Recieving Files > Cookies, make sure that either "Never ask" or "Ask for each site" is selected in the "When recieving cookies" dropdown menu.  Click OK.
3 . Restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.

 

Netscape or Mozilla

PC

1. Select Edit > Preferences from the menu options.
2. Under the category Privacy & Security > Cookies, make sure that the "Enable cookies for the originating site only" radio button is selected.  Click OK.
3 . Restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.

Mac

1. Select Mozilla > Preferences or Netscape > Preferences from the menu options.
2. Under the category Privacy & Security > Cookies, make sure that the "Allow cookies for the originating site only" radio button is selected.  Click OK.
3 . Restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.

 

Safari

1. Select Safari > Preferences from the meny options.
2. Select the Security tab.
3. Make sure the "Only from site you navigate to" radio button is selected under the "Allow Cookies:" section.  Close the Security window.
4. Restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.
