Citing References at ND

OpenURL

An OpenURL is a template URL that allows you to use your citation metadata to connect to the Libraries' FindText service. This allows you to see if we have the particular item in full text, to look for the item in the online catalog, or to possibly order the item through ILL.

Configuring OpenURL in Endnote:

Click Edit -> Preferences ...
Click on OpenURL
Check the Enable OpenURL box
In the OpenURL path box, put the following:

http://sfx.nd.edu:8889/ndu_local

In the Arguments box, put the following:

?sid=EndNote&aufirst=AUFIRST&aulast=AULAST
&issn=ISSN&isbn=ISBN&atitle=ATITLE&title=TITLE
&volume=VOLUME&issue=ISSUE&date=DATE
&spage=SPAGE&epage=EPAGE

Click OK
