Enabling Unicode

in Web Browsers

Internet Explorer | Netscape or Mozilla | Safari

 

Internet Explorer

PC

1. Select View > Encoding from the menu options.
2. Select "Unicode (UTF-8)".
3. Restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.

Mac

1. Select View > Character Set from the menu options.
2. Select "Universal Alphabet (UTF-8)".
3 . Restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.

 

Netscape or Mozilla

PC

1. Select View > Character Coding from the menu options.
2. Select "Unicode (UTF-8)".
3 . Restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.

Mac

1. Select View > Character Encoding from the menu options.
2. Select "Unicode (UTF-8)".
3 . Restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.

 

Safari

1. Select Safari > Preferences from the meny options.
2. Select the Appearance tab.
3. Make sure"Unicode (UTF-8)" is selected from the "Default Encoding" dropdown menu.  Close the Security window.
4. Restart your browser to ensure the changes take effect.
