How Do I … Start My Research?

CITE Your Sources

Plagiarism is defined as "the act of taking the writings of another person and passing them off as one's own." Proper citation of sources is a critical part of the research process. Several online style guides are available at http://www.library.nd.edu/howdoi/CiteaSource.shtml. Style manuals are also available in the print reference collection of Hesburgh Library. A reference librarian can assist you with their use.
