A peer teaching program will begin in Fall 2004 with the librarians in the Collection Development Department and the Reference Services Department. This program is designed to encourage librarians to observe, share resources and engage in conversations about their teaching.
Objectives
Participants in the peer teaching program will:

Receive feedback from librarian colleagues on self-identified issues in their own teaching

Assist librarian colleagues in strenghtening their teaching through peer teaching methods such as observation, sharing of resources and discussion

Develop new teaching methods and strategies

Build trust and commitment to teaching and learning
