Access to these resources is governed by license agreements which restrict use to the Notre Dame community and to individuals who use the Notre Dame Libraries' facilities. It is the responsibility of each user to ensure that he or she uses these products only for individual, noncommercial use without systematically downloading, distributing, or retaining substantial portions of information. Acceptable use forbids downloading contents of entire issues of a given journal title. The use of software such as scripts, agents, or robots, is generally prohibited and may result in loss of access to these resources for the entire Notre Dame community.

    Contains fundamental financial and market information for approximately 15,000 industrial, insurance, banking and other financial service companies from 72 countries representing Europe, Asia, the Pacific Rim, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East. Accompanied by various manuals, diskettes and quick reference cards including: Data guide. Shelved in BIC. Mode of access: Notre Dame server via web browser. Research Insight provides access to two underlying databases: Standard & Poor's Compustat (North America) and Standard & Poor's Compustat (Global). Users of Research Insight must select the desired content. Once within Research Insight, on the menu bar select "Databases", then select the "Default Database..." option. From the resulting pull down menu select "COMPUSTAT" for the North America content or "GLOBALVantage" for the Global content.
