Special Projects

The Preservation Department engages in a number of special projects which often involve multiple Preservation units. Special projects are coordinated by Julie Arnott, Department Head.

Special Projects include:

  • Coordination of the Emergency Preparedness and Response Program within the University Libraries
  • Working with library and facilities staff to monitor and control of collections storage environmental conditions
  • Outreach services
  • Grant Initiatives
  • Internships & Preservation Planning Surveys
  • Staff and user education in care and handling of collections
