The library of José Durand, acquired in 1995, includes more than 40 literary, historical, financial and ecclesiastical manuscript items from the Spanish colonies (mainly Peru) in the New World. An online exhibit highlighting various aspects of the collection is now available. In addition, a few manuscript documents in the Inquisition Collection relate to Inquisitorial activities in the Spanish Americas. |
