Spanish. Two related documents; the first acknowledges receipt of documents, some dating as far back as 1705, from Madrid naming various persons (including Antonio Maldonado) to offices in the Peruvian tribunal (1711). The second is a notice from Madrid naming Francisco Matienzo to an inquisitorial post in Lima; his blood purity (limpieza) is mentioned (1765). Both documents contain signatures and wax seals.

Spanish. Certificate confirming the retirement of Luis Maldonado as secretary of the Valladolid inquisition with full pension and perquisites. Contains signatures, inquisitorial wax seal. Certified four months later (1717) before Antonio Llanes Campomanes (on verso).

Spanish. Collection of documents relating to the Santa Hermandad confraternity. The first three are printed forms filled in by hand on behalf of two confraternity comisarios; these contain signatures and wax seals. A series of manuscript documents follows, relating to the same Familiars and officials. Ornate binding with crest.

Spanish. Ornate certificate with hand-colored decorative border, naming Francisco Calero Alexandre de Pedraxas a familiar of the inquisition. Contains signatures; inquisitorial wax seal has detached. Badly faded in parts. Certified later in the same month (on verso).

Spanish. Notice from inquisitor general Perez de Prado y Cuesta, confirming Pedro Martinez de Soria's tenure as Alguacil de la Santa Cruzada (a royal donation dating back to the 1630s). Certified in the following year at la Gineta, with wax seal (on verso); text partially cut off at bottom. Contains signature.
