Date of origin:The watermark is similar to others found in Galicia in the later 17th century.
Place of origin:Spain

Support: Paper codex with watermark: two circles with letters surmounted by crown flanked by two eagles or griffins.
Foliation:Numbered in lead in the upper right corner of each leaf by a modern hand.
Dimensions:148mm x 101mm (leaves)
Collation:1-22 310 46 510 66 710 86 910 106 1110 126 1310 146 (-5 -6) Catchwords are written at the bottom of every page.
Script:The text is in formal humanist cursive in a single hand.

Binding:Bound in contemporary limp vellum with title on spine: Catechismo Theologico IIS.
Provenance:The manuscript was written in Spain and found later in Peru, where it was probably in the use of Jesuit missionaries.
