Date of origin:ca. 1463.
Place of origin: Picardy, France

Support: Paper codex with watermarks: unicorn (Briquet 10026) in the first gathering, star (similar to Briquet 6111) in the second gathering, and the letter y (Briquet 9188) in the final three gatherings.
Foliation: Misnumbered in lead in a modern hand in the upper right hand corner of each leaf. Correct foliation is provided on the first leaf of every new text and at the end.

Collation:18 (-6, -7, -8) 28 (-1) 3-412 512 (-2).
Script:Written by five hands in a several gothic cursives of varying degrees of quality. The first hand is responsible for the first gathering to f. 5v, the second hand for the second gathering to f. 12v, the third hand for the last leaf of the second gathering, f. 13, the fourth hand for ff. 14r to 18v, and the fifth hand for the remainder of the manuscript.

Binding:Bound in limp vellum of the 16th or 17th century.
Additions:Occasional notes in a later hand on the second gathering.
Provenance:The manuscript is jointly owned with the Newberry Library and shelved at the Newberry as MS. 176.
