The Vernon Manuscript (late fourteenth century) is the both the physically biggest and most extensive collection of many surviving Middle English religious and moral works (The Prick of Conscience, Cursor Mundi, The Scale of Perfection, The Mixed Life, and the Ancrene Riwle); it also contains a number of Richard Rolle's English epistles and a number of Anglo-Norman and Latin works. This book contains a black-and-white facsimile of the complete text as well as a color section on the manuscript's most interesting features.
