Instant messaging (IM) is offered as a tool to communicate with librarians to assist in your research and reference needs and is intended for students, staff, and faculty of the University of Notre Dame.

How to IM

If you use IM clients from AOL, Yahoo, MSN, and Google, you can add us to your contact list. We use the following screen names:

If you are using MSN Messenger, you will have to add @hotmail.com at the end of our screen name (example, ndlibraries@hotmail.com).
