Resources providing bibliographic information or citations to a body of literature corresponding to a criterion such as author, title, keyword or subject.

Access to these resources is governed by license agreements which restrict use to the Notre Dame community and to individuals who use the Notre Dame Libraries' facilities. It is the responsibility of each user to ensure that he or she uses these products only for individual, noncommercial use without systematically downloading, distributing, or retaining substantial portions of information. Acceptable use forbids downloading contents of entire issues of a given journal title. Art full text

Coverage:

Indexes and abstracts articles on archaeology, architecture, art, motion pictures and photography in international periodicals (including full-text of selected periodicals). Titles covered are English-language periodicals, yearbooks, and museum bulletins, as well as periodicals in French, Italian, German, Japanese, Spanish, Dutch, and Swedish. Art Full Text also indexes reproductions of works of art in these periodicals.
Avery index to architectural periodicals

Offers a comprehensive listing of journal articles published worldwide on architecture and design, archaeology, city planning, interior design, and historic preservation. Coverage is from the 1930s (with selective coverage dating back to the 1860s) to the present. Usage info: Licensed for 5 simultaneous users.
MathSciNet

Coverage:

Consists of reviews and citations to the world's research literature in mathematics and related areas compiled from: Mathematical reviews, and: Current mathematical publications, 1940- The period between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time is reserved for maintenance. MathSciNet may be unavailable during that period.
MLA international bibliography

Coverage:

The MLA International Bibliography of Books and Articles on the Modern Languages and Literatures provides citations of journal articles, books, and dissertations published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. Coverage is international and subjects include literature, language and linguistics, literary theory, dramatic arts, folklore, and film since 1926.
Peace research abstracts

Coverage:
1964-
The only specifically peace studies index to periodical literature available in the University Libraries. Invaluable but difficult to use in print, the online version allows searching of its substantive abstracts, in addition to names, article titles, subject terms and author-supplied keywords.
