Access to these resources is governed by license agreements which restrict use to the Notre Dame community and to individuals who use the Notre Dame Libraries' facilities. Acceptable use forbids downloading contents of entire issues of a given journal title.     Chemical information system comprising Beilstein Database, Gmelin Database, AutoNom, CrossFire search and retrieval server software, and Commander client. Allows search and display of chemical information by substances (structures and properties), reactions, or bibliographic citations. Beilstein database contains literature of organic chemistry from 1779 to date; Gmelin database contains that of inorganic and organometallic chemistry from 1817 to date. AutoNom (Automatic Nomenclature) generates IUPAC systematic nomenclature directly from structure diagrams of organic compounds.
