My Account

Allows you to:

• VIEW your loan list.
• RENEW your materials.>
• VIEWyour hold/recall requests.
• DELETE your hold/recall requests.
• CHANGEyour verification number.

What you will need:

• The 14-digit BARCODE NUMBER on the back of your ID card.
• A verification number. (The last 4 digits of your Social Security number.)

It is recommended that you change your verification number after you sign in for the first time. The new Verification Number must be NUMERIC and at least 4 DIGITS in length.

How to access your "My Account":
Step 1. Start from http://catalog.library.nd.edu

It is also available from the ND home page. Select: libraries/University Libraries/ND Libraries Catalog

Step 2. Click on "My Account" at the top of the page.
Step 3. Enter your ID Barcode Number.

The 14-digit number on the reverse side of your Notre Dame ID card.

Step 4. Enter your verification number.

Forgot your verification number? Request it to be Reset at a circulation desk or send request to library.circ.1@nd.edu

Step 5. From "MY ACCOUNT" Click one of the following:

• LOANS: View the list of materials currently on loan
  (Note: Loans do not include InterLibrary Loan)
• HOLDS: View materials you have requested from another patron or delete the recall/hold.
• RENEW your materials for another pre-determined loan period.
  (Note: Materials that have been "recalled" or "on hold" for another patron and those materials considered "lost" will NOT be renewed.)
• CHANGE your verification number.

Step 6. When you are finished press the RESET button to LOGOUT.

Failure to RESET and LOGOUT of the session will allow others to view your personal information.

"My Account" for other libraries:
Notre Dame students, faculty, and staff may logon to "My Account" at Saint Mary's and Bethel

• If you are currently in a "My Account" session, click on RESET to end that session.
• Go to the "Law and Other Catalogs" (right hand corner) pull down menu to select another library.
• Select "My Account" for that institution.
• Enter your Notre Dame ID Barcode number.
• Enter your Verification number.

It is recommended that you change your Verification number after signing in for the first time at EACH institution you wish to access.

• Press the RESET button to LOGOUT
