Self Service Checkout

The Self Service Checkout machine is located in the lobby of Hesburgh Library

When:

• Anytime the Hesburgh Library Building is Open.

What you will need:

• Your ID Card.
• Your verification number.

Your Verification Number is the same number you use for "My Account" - Initially the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.

Forgot your verification number? Request it to be Reset at a circulation desk or send request to library.circ.1@nd.edu

What can you check out?

• Most books and journals from the library.
• There must be a barcode in the back of the item.
• You may not check out materials from Reference, Current Periodicals and the Reserve Book Room.

Please take any items you cannot checkout to the Circulation Desk.

After hours, take problem items to the Monitor's Desk.
Some items may be held for you until circulation opens.
