Acceptable Use Policy
The John W. Gallivan Program in Journalism, Ethics & Democracy offers an interdisciplinary minor for students interested in careers in print and broadcast journalism. The journalism program is part of the American Studies department. Two library endowments support the journalism program: The Clinton Faille Library Endowment in the History of Journalism and The Jackoboice Family Collection in Journalism.

Access to these resources is governed by license agreements which restrict use to the Notre Dame community and to individuals who use the Notre Dame Libraries' facilities. Successor to Dow Jones News Service, Factiva provides access to global news and business information, including newspapers, same-day newswires, company reports, and media programs. Usage info: Licensed for 4 simultaneous users. Access info: Historically Factiva only worked with IE version 5 or higher. Since then, several other browser options have been added.
