Join Sports, Media, and Culture (SMAC) students, faculty, and friends as we celebrate our third year! This year, SMAC fest will showcase our seniors' 11 capstone projects, feature a faculty spotlight, welcome our fourth cohort of students into the minor, and provide the opportunity for alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to discuss sport, media, and culture from a variety of perspectives. 

Capstone topics include Formula One, Native mascots, Notre Dame ushers, youth sports, women in sports, Mexican-American baseball players, college walk-ons, the GAA, and more.

Capstone presenters: John Bailey, Calie Brady, Calyn Carbone, Nibi Ghosh, Isaiah Gonzalez, Jake Irons, Madeline Ladd, Eli Lanser, Shannon Lipscomb, Rino Monteforte, and Paige Muir.

All are welcome to attend the full session or come and go as their schedule allows.
