Learn how to use VOSviewer to visualize relationships between sources in a literature review—including journals, researchers/authors, or individual publications. Use VOSviewer to illustrate author collaborations, analyze article citation patterns, explore research trends, and more.

Please bring a laptop to the session with the software installed (see below).

BEFORE THE SESSION, PLEASE:

1. Install the program:

   1. Visit vosviewer.com.
   2. Proceed to Download menu.
   3. Download and install the appropriate version for your computer.
   4. Once downloaded, open VOSViewer to make sure it works.
2. Update Java if applicable:

   1. When opening VOSViewer, you might be prompted to download the latest version of Java before the application will function.
   2. If so, download Java at java.com.
