CDS Research and Statistical Tools Camp—Introduction to LaTeX Typesetting

Overview

This session will be a hands-on workshop on learning to use LaTeX. No knowledge of LaTeX is needed. The workshop will go over LaTeX concepts, creating and processing LaTeX files, basic style commands, mathematical formatting, tables, and floating figures. At the end participants should know enough to create basic documents, and to understand enough to be able to find answers online.

Please bring your own laptop with any TeX distribution installed (or contact cds@nd.edu with a questions about loaner laptop availability/installation).

Open to graduate students and postdocs.
