Workshop Overview

This is an introduction to R designed for participants with no programming experience.

Participants will work through basic information about the following topics throughout the 3-part session:

1. Basic information about R syntax
2. The RStudio interface
3. How to import CSV files
4. The structure of data frames
5. How to deal with factors
6. How to add/remove rows and columns
7. How to calculate summary statistics from a data frame
8. A brief introduction to plotting

This lesson assumes no prior knowledge of the skills or tools.
