Workshop Overview

Participants will receive an overview of how they can:

  1. Recognize the need for and apply regular file maintenance and organization techniques
  2. Determine which points of practice they need to apply now (and later)
  3. Apply consistent metadata in the use of tags and file naming conventions to assist file management practice
  4. Identify file or folder structures that support their research areas and needs
  5. Identify generally what types of data may be stored in which Notre Dame environments

This series is designed to help you think about your career as a researcher. Workshops on academic publishing models, intellectual property matters, research impact, and peer review are offered periodically to advance graduate students' understanding of these key areas of scholarly communication.

Open to all graduate students.
