Learn to design and present compelling research posters using Google Slides.
This two-hour workshop equips participants with the skills to design and present compelling research posters. In the first half, you’ll explore best practices for gathering and organizing content, along with visual design principles that help communicate research clearly and effectively. In the second half, you'll apply these concepts by beginning to design their posters in Google Slides.
Although you will be working in Google Slides, all insights apply equally to PowerPoint and other similar design applications.
Prerequisite:
No previous experience required.

- Explore Google Slides as an optimal platform for creating academic research posters.
- Introduce core poster standards for sizing, spacing, chunking content, and improving research poster readability.
- Introduce Gestalt principles of visual design to elevate the impact of your poster.
