Overview
Richard So, assistant professor of English at the University of Chicago, will discuss his current project in the context of the digital humanities field. A Q&A session will follow.
His project, The Data of Cultural Inequality: Codes of American Race and Writing, 1950-2000, studies the emergence of patterns of racial discourse and distinction in the U.S. literary field in the post-war period.
