Workshop Overview

QGIS is an open source and cross-platform Geographic Information System (GIS) software that supports displaying, storing, editing, and analyzing geospatial data.

In this workshop, attendees will get hands-on experience with the QGIS software interface in the Windows system, learn how to display spatial data, create GIS layers from raw data, and perform basic spatial analysis. The data required for this workshop will be provided.

This workshop is open to all graduate and undergraduate students, postdocs, faculty, and staff.
