About the Lab
The Immersive Technologies Lab (ITL) serves as the front door for the extended reality (XR) ecosystem at Notre Dame.
Part of the Navari Family Center of Digital Scholarship (NFCDS) and located on the second floor of the Hesburgh Library, the lab is a centralized hub where all members of the Notre Dame community can learn about and explore immersive technologies, including virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), and augmented reality (AR).
The ITL supports collaboration, idea development, and hands-on experimentation, and provides access to XR equipment. All experience levels are welcome — whether you are new to XR or seeking larger collaborations with partners such as the Office of Digital Learning and Teaching and Learning Technologies.
