Workshop Overview

Python is a very popular programming language for text mining and natural language processing.

The Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK) is a very popular suite of Python modules making the process of text mining easier.

This workshop is an introduction to the NLTK and will demonstrate some of its functionality. You will leave with a working knowledge of Python and exposure to the inner workings of the NLTK.

Please bring your own computer or borrow a laptop from the Circulation desk.

Open to all graduate and undergraduate students, postdocs, faculty and staff.
