StoryMaps is a browser-based platform for displaying spatial data alongside audio/video, images, and text. After completing this session, you will be able to craft a multimedia narrative in ArcGIS StoryMaps.
You will learn how to:
- Be mindful of accessibility and visualization principles for effective presentation of a geospatial narrative.
- Log in and navigate the basic features of Esri's ArcGIS StoryMaps platform.
Prerequisites:
- This lesson assumes no prior knowledge of the skills or tools.
- Please bring a laptop to the session (laptops are available for three-hour loans on a first-come, first-served basis at the 1st floor Circulation Desk).
- If you do not already have access to the campus GIS network, you will receive an invitation before the workshop--please activate your account prior to the workshop.
