Join Hesburgh Libraries' Rare Books & Special Collections (RBSC) and the Navari Family Center for Digital Scholarship (NFCDS) for a half-day, hands-on workshop covering the basics of digitally mapping text-based materials. In this session, we will work with RBSC’s copies of the journal Repertorio Americano (1826–1827), a cornerstone publication of post-independence Hispanic American print culture. You will learn essential skills needed to transform narrative content into mappable data points, and begin building a visual narrative using ArcGIS.
