247 Hesburgh Library, Navari Family Center for Digital Scholarship
This workshop will provide tips on how to organize and preserve your personal digital materials to make them available for future generations.
Our photos, recordings, and paper documents are a vital link to the past, and the information we create today has the same value. The only difference is that much of it is now digital. Chances are that you want to keep some digital photos, videos, and other files so that you—and your family—can look at them in the future.
This workshop will provide some resources and high-level tips on how to plan for backing up and organizing your own personal digital materials in order to preserve your “born digital” information and make it last for future generations.
If this event is full or you are unable to attend any of these dates/times, please feel free to fill out our workshop request form and we will work with you to schedule a session you will be able to attend.
