Join Assistant Professor David Bird for a hands-on workshop on creative sampling. Using digital audio workstations (DAWs), you’ll learn how to transform found audio into original musical material and explore techniques for chopping, processing, and recontextualizing sound. Participants are encouraged to use what they create for the Public Domain Day Music Contest!
