264 Hesburgh Library, Technology Commons

Bootstrap is one of the most popular frameworks for rapidly building seamless, mobile-friendly websites with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

In this workshop, we will create a fully functioning Bootstrap website from the ground up. With the Bootstrapr.io tool, we’ll learn to easily and rapidly prototype well-crafted, professional looking websites with ready-made interface elements from the Bootstrap libraries.

Prerequisites:

  1. A basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  2. A very basic working knowledge of the Apple Terminal or Windows command line interface (CLI).

Learning goals: Help you learn how to host the website on Github’s Gh-Pages for free.
