This workshop will go over some of the basics of using spatial data in the R programming language. Basic tasks like opening and using shapefiles and georeferenced raster images will be outlined. No previous experience with GIS data is assumed, but some background in using R and Rstudio is encouraged. You are free to bring your own laptop, but some can be provided if necessary.
