Consideration for others

In a small community such as the NDL, the actions of an individual will impact immediately on their peers. Please do not steal, hide, damage, or deface library resources.

Noise

Please use the 4th floor study offices for group work, and do not disrupt others' study with your music or conversation. The main room, to your left as you enter the 3rd floor library, is designed for quiet social study, and the right-hand reading room and Law Library for silent study. Switch mobile phones and laptop computers to silent mode, and leave the library if you need to make or take a call.

Food

No hot food, as elsewhere in Fischer Hall. The only place you should have hot food is in the MCR or JCR.

Drinks

Drinks are ok. You may consume drinks in the library, so long as any spills are cleaned up, and reported to Reception.

Waste and Recycling

Please deal with waste and recycling appropriately - there are clearly labeled collection points in both rooms.
