This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. To mark that moment in history, Julia Schneider, German language and literature librarian, Natasha Lyandres, Russian and East European studies librarian, and Jean McManus, Catholic studies librarian, have worked together to curate the latest Rare Books and Special Collections exhibit, Tragedies of War: Images of WWII in Print Visual Culture. The exhibit gives visitors a chance to view WWII from the perspective of the everyday Europeans who lived alongside it.
