Select spaces in the Hesburgh Library are available for meetings sponsored by other campus departments and organizations. While we are glad to provide this service, this is a secondary activity for us, and we are not able to offer the same services and equipment that are available from other dedicated space venues on campus.

After reviewing the guidelines and space options below, please use the Reserve a Class or Meeting Space form to make your request, and it will be routed to the appropriate contact person. After you submit your reservation request, you will receive a response at the email address provided in your form submission within three business days.

The Carey Auditorium is managed by the Office of the Registrar. View more details in the EMS room request system.
Library tours are available only to individuals currently affiliated with the University of Notre Dame (students, faculty, and staff). Requests for tours of Fr. Hesburgh’s office on the 13th Floor are managed separately by the Office of Mission Engagement and Church Affairs.
Requests for the Mahaffey Family Presidential Suite (14th Floor) are managed by the Office of the President. This space is reserved for select University functions and is not available for personal or group tours.
